    POSITION OVERVIEW: The QA Manager is responsible for safeguarding product safety and quality while meeting company and regulatory standards, and has oversight responsibility for a continuous quality improvement program that includes quality control and quality assurance. This person is responsible for ensuring that the production and distribution of products meets or exceeds all quality standards.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    Ensure all quality standards and specifications are met or exceeded
    Ensure proper sanitation procedures are utilized
    Monitor compliance to accepted standards from receipt of raw milk and ingredients to shipments of finished products
    Ensure products and processes are safe and meet regulatory requirements
    HACCP coordinator; complete all HACCP records
    SQF Practitioner
    Main contact for Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, FDA, USDA
    Troubleshoot quality issues
    Maintain Master Cleaning and inspection program
    Preform Environmental swabs and follow up
    Maintain vitamin usage records
    Maintain recall program
    Train employees on Good Manufacturing Practices
    Complete all records required by federal, state and local authorities
    Must follow all FSMA, GMP, SQF, HACCP & Safety Policies and Procedures
    Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner
    Enforce sound safety and housekeeping practices
    Ability to creatively solve problems in a timely manner
    Proficiency in communication with a wide range of personality types is needed to successfully deal with customers, employees, contractors, vendors and owners
    Requires leadership aptitude and ability to motivate employees to excel in their jobs
    Ability to work in a union environment
    Counseling of employees when problems occur
    Attendance at disciplinary sessions, monthly manager meetings and other meetings as needed

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Must achieve and maintain Approved Sampler Permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture
    Must achieve and maintain PMO Appendix N lab analyst certificate
    Must achieve and maintain IMS HACCP Certification
    Must achieve and maintain SQF Certification
    Must achieve and maintain FSMA Certification
    Completion of Sensory Training
    Trained in OSHA programs and best safety practices as required: which could include but not limited to; PPE, Respirator, Hazard Communications, Hearing Conservation, Lockout/ Tagout, Confined Spaces, Forklift, Emergency Evacuation

    OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
    Ability to drive between plants
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    Math skills including basic understanding of statistics
    Must be able to work with others
    Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively
    Must be able to organize work
    Must be able to maintain good relations with co-workers
    Must maintain professional attitude

    EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor degree in a science-based area of study such as; Food Science, Dairy Production, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology
    5 years’ of experience preferred but not necessary
    Knowledge of dairy equipment, how they work and troubleshooting problems desirable
    Experience in a manufacturing environment
    Previous supervisory experience desirable
    Ongoing education of machinery, best practices, and OSHA regulations by attending classes or seminars

    Position: Delivery Driver/Salesperson

    Position Summary: This is a full time position. This team member is responsible for providing a high level of customer service while delivering our products. This Driver/ Salesperson will provide consistent, on-time delivery, and outstanding customer service for an assigned route. Employees are expected to follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and company policies and procedures.
    This position requires a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License. **

    **The Commercial Driver License Cannot have restriction "E" which restricts the driver from driving manual transmission commercial vehicles.

    Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Skills and Qualifications:
    •Performance of physical tasks and use of commercial vehicles to deliver products to multiple, scheduled customers within a defined area.
    •Deliver products in a safe and timely manner to customer locations and picking their orders off of the truck.
    •Ability to frequently lift and carry products weighing approximately 50 lbs. Ability to push and pull a dolly weighing approximately 200 lbs.
    •Responsible for merchandising at the customer location.
    •Maintain accurate inventory of product on the truck.
    •Serve as the primary interface with the customer.
    •Ability to provide a high level of customer service and solve customer issues as they arise
    •Ability to work independently and as a team player in addition to making good business decisions independently
    •High school diploma or equivalent
    •Ability to work over 40 hours per week and over 10 hours in a day (4 days a week) with a starting time that will vary depending on the route that is assigned to for that day.
    •Possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL with a safe driving record and the ability to drive a manual standard transmission commercial truck.
    •CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience
    •Conduct vehicle safety inspection.
    •Must be knowledgeable about and understand current Department of Transportation regulations
    •Prior history of employment providing customer service desired
