Cottage Cheese Toast


Though delicious on it’s own, this avocado toast upgrade takes it to a whole other level! Not only does it taste good, it’s full of good-for-you ingredients. One container of cottage cheese has 16g of protein to help you gain muscle. Avocados are a source of fiber and healthy fats that fill you up.

The combination of creaminess from the toppings with the crunch of the toast makes for satisfaction in every bite! This recipe only takes a few minutes prepare and can be dressed up or down. Don’t like tomatoes? Try it with green onions or radishes instead! The simplicity of the toast acts as a blank canvas to build upon. Don’t be afraid to get creative and try using your favorite ingredients. The possibilities are endless!


  • 2 Pieces Whole Wheat Bread (or bread of choice)
  • 1/2 Cup Grape Tomatoes
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 5.3oz Container Classic Cottage Cheese


Toast bread in toaster.

Slice tomatoes into quarters.

Halve avocado and scoop into bowl with a spoon.

Use a fork to mash avocado, add salt and pepper.

Spread avocado onto both pieces of toast.

Place tomatoes on top.

Add salt & pepper to taste (optional)
