We are proud to partner with 36 local, family owned farms right here in Western PA. It is, in large part, due to the quality of milk coming from our farm partners that we are able to achieve a high level of quality. Our farm partners routinely score among the best in Pennsylvania during their annual audit by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. If we didn’t have the best raw ingredients available our finished products would be average at best.
Until recently, Pennsylvania mandated a 17-day Sell-By Date on fluid milk products regardless of quality. As a result of Act 62 Open Code Dating is now permitted on fresh fluid milk products in PA (verified by 3rd party quality testing). Effective immediately, Turner Dairy is extending our shelf life for locally produced, fresh dairy products up to 25 days from processing. Turner Dairy is the first fluid milk processor in Pennsylvania to extend their shelf life past 17 days.
